Hello all,

As France decides whether to say 'Non' to the european constitution,
we say 'Oui' to another marvellous evening of French traditional music
and dance.  I'm pleased to say we will have Lys St George (Peter and
Kate from Pierrot) to lead the music this month.  They will lead a
music workshop, then play with our regular musicians before finishing
the evening playing themselves so there will be plenty of interest to
dancers and musicians alike.

We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month.
   * 8 pm - Informal music and dance teaching: Our musicians offer
help with music for the dances + Dancing with help from the club
members and occasional French and Breton Artists
   * 9 pm - Musicians and dancers come together for dancing, singing and music
   * 10.30 pm - a glass of wine and a chat - a chance to get to know everyone

Price: normally £3 \ £2 unwaged but we may have to charge a little
more this time to cover Pierrot's costs.  Won't be much though
(includes refreshments at the end)

French Music Sessions

All are welcome to these informal French traditional music sessions -
bring an instrument, a voice or just a pair of ears and a
congratulatory tongue. There is even a small wooden dance floor, piano
and double bass available.

We meet up every 1st Thursday of the month at 8.30pm at:
