Eyup,

Anyone who watched Spirituality Shopper last week will have learned
all about the power of Sufi whirling in improving your spiritual
well-being: http://www.channel4.com/culture/microsites/C/can_you_believe_it/debates/shopper.html
I watched and as I saw a young advertising executive slowly spinning
her way to greater contentment I thought - she's waltzing. By
herself! If it works that well on your own then it's no wonder that
the French waltz feels so good with a partner.

So come and dance away the woes and strife of modern life this
Thursday at 8pm and help us work out how to spread the good word to
even more people, as we'll be holding our short annual meeting at 9.15
ish. Requests for dances to me please, and the Panards band will be
playing - there's no music workshop this month so it's free for
musicians.

MUSIC SESSION
The free music session continues to go well at the new venue:
All are welcome to these informal French traditional music sessions -
bring an instrument, a voice or just a pair of ears and a
congratulatory tongue. There is even a small wooden dance floor, piano
and double bass available.
We meet up on the 1st Thursday of every month at 8.30pm at:
the Chemic pub,
Johnston Street,
Woodhouse,
Leeds LS6 2NG

year's festival, adding to the top French band Zef and our local
favourites Steve Ellis and Geoff Beilby (Gars du Nord)
More details as we get them on http://www.frenchdanceleeds.co.uk/special.html
