Hi all,

There's another great session of music and dance coming up this Thursday
(details below) also in this month's issue:

- Do you have floorspace for a musician on Thursday?
- Ceilidh for TIDAL
- Music session
- Janet's party

Panards This Thursday 17th August


   - 8 -9.15pm - Informal music and dance teaching: Our musicians offer
   help with music for the dances + New dance teaching with help from the club
   members and occasional French and Breton Artists
   - 9.30 pm - Musicians and dancers come together for dancing, singing
   and music.

Price: £4 \ £3 unwaged
(includes light refreshments)

Hello ,
           I'm Keith Baker, hurdy-gurdy-ist with Mortimers
           Morris , Nottingham ( and organiser of the Ockbrook
           french session near Derby / J.25 of the M1 ) .
                   We are going to Whitby Folk Festival for the week
           from this friday , 18th.August , and I would like to take
           the opportunity to also enjoy the Les Panards session
          on thurs.17th.August .  Also ( and rather cheekily ) to
          ask if I could find floor-space to stay-over in Leeds
          somewhere after the session ( then carry on to Whitby on
          friday morning ) . I'll have my sleeping-bag / camping gear
          with me , so I'm self-sufficient . [ I'm a non-smoker too....) .

Music Session

All are welcome to these informal French traditional music sessions - bring
an instrument, a voice or just a pair of ears and a congratulatory tongue.
There is even a small wooden dance floor, piano and double bass available.

We meet up every 1st Thursday of the month at 8.30pm at:
