French Music Session We've moved the music session because it was getting
hard to compete with the disco music in the old place! The new venue is
really welcoming and friendly.
All are welcome to these informal French traditional music sessions - bring
an instrument, a voice or just a pair of ears and a congratulatory tongue.
There is even a small wooden dance floor, piano and double bass available.
We meet up every 1st Thursday of the month at 8.30pm at:
the Chemic pub,
Johnston Street,
Woodhouse,
Leeds LS6 2NG

*Directions:* From Headingley Lane turn into Woodhouse Street (it's a major
intersection with traffic lights, south of where we normally meet - "The
Hyde Park" pub is on the corner) .
About half-way down Woodhouse St. you'll find the CHEMIC on the left hand
side on the corner with Johnston Street - it is slightly elevated and
"behind you" - it is next to a Fish and Chip Shop which is well signposted -
so watch out for the Fish & Chips sign.
Woodhouse Street carries on down to Meanwood Road - so it would be easy to
also approach it from that direction, when the Chemic would be on the right
(of course).
